Happy Tuesday!!
This past week was a bit of a transitional week for us. During the Sunday School hour we took time to celebrate Erica as she steps into a new job, and then in Youth Group we spent some time reconnecting with one another, praying, and playing some board games. A lot of students brought baked goods and other food to celebrate the rest afforded by fall break. Next week we will begin an intergenerational Sunday School class called "Faith for Exiles" in the FLC! I'm excited to facilitate discussion around how we can connect with one another and hopefully foster some mutual understanding across generations. I truly believe that wholistic youth ministry is not complete without the help and support of the church as a whole! In youth group next week we hope to hear from Forrest Kamper on "How to listen to God!" Then we will keep our series on practical discipleship moving along unless some other students come forward with a desire to share their gifts and hearts!! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you this Saturday for the chili cook-off!!
