2/6/22 - Grace and Truth, and a good God with less than good followers.

Good morning! 

This past week in Sunday school Dr. Sprinkle dove into 6 of the most referenced verses when human sexuality is brought up. We spent some time in small groups discussing the different arguments for and against affirmation and landed on the importance of not using the Bible as a weapon. 

In youth group we started the question "How can I serve a God who lets Christians do such bad things," and plan to keep digging into that question in the coming weeks! We have one more week of Grace and Truth to get through before we move back into the youth center for Sunday school and start up the Bible Project curriculum on James!

I should have more detailed updates for you when we make that switch back to our standard Sunday school format, but I have been getting a lot of positive feedback from people of all ages about the Grace and Truth Class! Youth group conversations continue to be fruitful and (for like the third time now,) finally feel like we are managing to re-establish some routine.
