We recently returned home from a week at summer camp at Timber Wolf Lake. We had 16 students and 4 leaders attend the trip. The week was filled with fun, laughter (lots of it!), and deepening of relationships. Not only did students grow deeper friendships with each other, they also grew in their relationship with Jesus. The students heard about and experienced the great love that our Father has for us, so much so that he came to earth to be with us. They learned that Jesus wants to be in a relationship with us and how that looks day to day. The camp speaker shared that we grow close to God when we pray, when we read His Word, when we serve and when we are part of a body of believers. We heard from S. Martin, the musician for the week, that we are, "so much more than mediocre". That God see us and loves us not matter what. Some highlights from the week include, fishing, the Wibit course and ice burg (inflatable obstacle course on the water), the program team/entertainment, the camp out, card games, frisbee golf, the zip line and shakes. We returned home with so many good memories and much closer relationships. It was, "the best week of our lives".
